– Plan and manage transportation, inventory, and warehouse operations.
– Develop strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
– Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
– Lead, train, and motivate logistics staff, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory
standards.
– Monitor logistics performance and implement process improvements.
– Resolve delivery and operational issues to maintain excellent service.
– Experienced in logistics or supply chain management.
– Strong organizational and leadership skills.
– Proficient in logistics software and inventory management systems.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Salary (UK Average):
– Average: £44,900 per year (£23.03 per hour)
– Lower range: £37,300 per year (£19.13 per hour)
Working Hours:
– Full-time position
– 37.5 to 40 hours per week
– Monday to Friday
– Occasional flexibility may be required to meet operational needs
Work Location: Based at the company's operational premises with site visits as
required.
