Welcome to Skylite Logistics. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • "Customer," "You," or "Your" refers to the person or entity using our services
  • "Services" refers to all transport, courier, and logistics services provided by Skylite Logistics
  • "Goods" refers to items, parcels, or cargo entrusted to us for transport

2. Service Agreement

By placing an order with Skylite Logistics, you enter into a binding contract with us. We will provide the services as described in your booking confirmation, subject to these terms and conditions.

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the quoted price.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding pick-up and delivery addresses
  • Ensure goods are properly packed and labeled for safe transport
  • Declare any hazardous, fragile, or valuable items prior to booking
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the goods being transported
  • Make payment in accordance with the agreed payment terms

4. Prohibited Items

We do not transport the following items:

  • Illegal substances or contraband
  • Dangerous goods (explosives, flammable materials, etc.) without prior authorization
  • Perishable items without appropriate packaging and notification
  • Live animals (except where specifically agreed upon)
  • Cash, securities, or precious metals without declared value and insurance

5. Delivery and Collection

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver goods within the timeframe specified. However, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address information
  • Recipient unavailability
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Additional charges may apply for redelivery or storage

6. Liability and Insurance

Our liability for loss or damage to goods is limited to £100 per consignment unless additional insurance is purchased. We recommend purchasing insurance for valuable items.

We are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by inadequate packaging
  • Loss or damage to prohibited items
  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
  • Consequential or indirect losses

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless credit terms have been agreed in advance. We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, credit card, and debit card.

For credit account customers, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Late payment may incur interest charges and additional collection costs.

8. Claims and Complaints

Any claims for loss or damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Claims should be submitted in writing with supporting documentation and photographs where applicable.

We are committed to resolving complaints promptly and fairly. For complaint procedures, please contact our customer service team.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

10. Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Your information will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
