We are seeking experienced managers to oversee transport and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods and people.
Roles May Include: Airport Managers, Depot & Fleet Managers, Dispatch & Distribution Managers, Harbour & Port Managers, Road Traffic Managers.
• Plan and manage transport and distribution strategies.
• Supervise fleets, depots, and distribution teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor performance, manage budgets, and optimize operations.
• Solve operational challenges and maintain timely deliveries.
• Experienced in transport or distribution management
• Strong leadership skills
• Proficient in operational planning and logistics software
Salary (UK Average):
• Average: £44,900 per year (£23.03/hour)
• Lower range: £35,200 per year (£18.05/hour)
Working Hours:
• Full-time position
• 37.5 to 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Occasional flexibility may be required to meet operational needs
Work Location: Based at the company's operational premises with site
visits as
required.
